Open Farm Sunday
The organisation Leaf (Linking Environment And Farming) organises a nationwide event, Open Farm Sunday, every year.
Farms across the country open their gates to visitors, in 2007 we joined in, the date was Sunday the 10th of June. In 2008 the date is going to be the 1st of June, and we'll be participating again.
Leaf's idea is to let people see what happens on a working farm. While we're quite small scale farm, we did our best to show people the range and depth of the things that happen here, if you came along on the day, maybe you could let us know how we matched up to your expectations.
We also cooked up some of our range of our fabulous sausages and burgers, but, not being sure of how many people would come, we ran out of some things quite early on. We reckon there were about two hundred people, but we didn't know that before time. In 2008...
