We're (again) participating in Open Farm Sunday this year.
The farm will be open from about 10am until 4pm
We'll have a butchery demonstration from our very amicable in house butcher (no, I don't mean Lorraine), and a spinning demonstration using wool from the sheep that live on the farm.
And of course there'll be short farm walks to see some of the topical issues at the time, we should have some very recently born calves around if the size of some of our cows and heifers is anything to go by! And of course there'll be local produce, some local to the farm of course (did anyone mention burgers?) and other excellent quality produce from other farms nearby. And hopefully we'll have some really interesting muck-piles to show you...
Getting to where we are now has been something of a journey for us. We're committed to being the best we can be. This carries over into what we produce, but the results aren't the reason we do it like that. They're results, the results of looking for things to be the best that we can make them.

Please enjoy the site. If you have something you'd like us to know, then email or call. If you'd like to visit, the same routes are a good place to start.
If you'd like to know more, please consider becoming a FoVF (just trips off the tongue, doesn't it?)
